Subject: Tuesday Update.

As you may have already seen on the website, Dr. Morgan looked at Jerrod this morning and said we will need to do the permanent shunt after all. We are not discouraged and we know it will be what is best. We check in to Richardson Regional Medical Center at 9 am tomorrow (October 31). The surgery is scheduled for 1 p.m. Doctor Morgan tried to schedule the surgery at Medical Center Plano but the O.R. was not available tomorrow and he wants to do it tomorrow. We will be in ICU for the first day, but I assume we will move to a regular room before we leave the hospital. He will be in the hospital until Saturday because he has to be on an antibiotic IV for three days.

We were looking forward to going to the LCS football game on Friday night with Jerrod. But, now we will not be able to do that. Today we have been able to just have fun together. After his doctor appointment we went to the mall and went to the Apple Store! Jerrod and I had a great time and Carla shopped for clothes while we played in the Apple Store.
Tonight we are going to take Jerrod out to eat. We may try to drive up to 561 (McKinney) so he can eat at Market Street. He is having a good day and we are enjoying being together out of the hospital for a day. I want to type more, but my wireless connection is coming in and out so I better get this sent.
